It is the customers responsibility to read the policy and decide if they wish to make a purchase from Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile. We ship United States Postal Service Flat Rate Priority for both US and International orders.
*Flat Rate Envelopes generally hold 5 to 6 yards of cotton fabric or 3 to 4 yards of flannel fabric depending on the cuts. (Example: 1 yard cuts fold differently than a 5 yard cut). Anything over 6 yards will end up being shipped in a Flat Rate Box and your shipping will be adjusted.
*Flat Rate Boxes will generally hold 12 to 20 yards depending on cotton versus flannel and the size of the cuts.
Additional charges may apply if your order exceeds weight and size limitations of the Flat Rate Priority Mail Envelope or Flat Rate Boxes.
*Shipping occurs Tuesday through Friday. We may temporarily delay shipping during certain holidays. Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile will ship your package within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Please Note: We process all online orders at the end of each business day. If your order is received after 4pm on Saturdays, we will not get to your order until Tuesday as we are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
US Shipping Policy
*We have a shipping rate of $5.50 uninsured for US orders under $50.00. The order must fit into a flat rate envelope provided by the United States Post Office. If it does not fit into the flat rate envelope, your shipment will be packaged into a flat rate box and the shipping charge will be adjusted.
*Orders under $50.00 are not insured unless requested. Orders of $50.00 or more will be insured and charged to the customer. Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost items in the mail.

Special Instuctions & How To Place An Order:
*If you only need a 1/2yd cut or .5 please select the 1/2yd cut option. If you only need a Fat Quarter of your desired print, select the "Fat Quarter" option. If you need to order yardage started at .75 (3/4) or more, please use the Quantity box. (Example: 1-1/2yds would be 1.5 in the Quantity field. Do not select 3 1/2yd cuts.)
*If you indicate "Send What You Have" and there is not enough quantity left on the bolt we will send the yardage left on the bolt to you.
*If you select "Cancel Item", please indicate which item(s) you want cancelled in the comment section.

Pick Up For Local Customers
If you would like to pick up your order at Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile, obviously the shipping charge will be waived. All orders that are being picked up at the “Shoppe” must be prepaid. Please select pick up in the shipping choice and as an extra alert to us please indicate that you will be picking up your order in the Comments section. The order will not be processed unless a credit card is provided with the order. Most orders for pick up will need 48 hours to process.

Because we are an actual store, sometimes items are sold off faster than we can update the website. Our website is updated every 2-3days. Patterns and books are not removed from the website until we know for sure we will not be restocking that item. It is for this reason that we strongly suggest you include special instruction if you need to be called. Please note: We do not contact you regarding fabric availability on $2.99yd fabric specials.
Web Exclusive & Specials Policy
Currently items in the Sale Fabrics category are available through the internet only. These items WILL NOT be available at the “Shoppe" so customers are encouraged to shop the internet for these specials.
Kit Policy
If you are purchasing a kit, Hollyhill Quilt Shoppe & Mercantile will make every effort to ensure that the original fabric shown in the “Shoppe” sample is included, however we reserve the right to make substitutions as necessary.
Return Policy
We will not accept returns on cut yardage, books, patterns, and quilt kits, block of the month programs or row of the month programs. If you have a problem, contact the "Shoppe" at 503-607-0600.
